On February 6, the popular variety show aired a preview of its upcoming season 'Law of the Jungle – Pioneers' (literal translation). The new season will feature Kim Byung Man and a crew of celebrity guests attempting to survive in deserted houses on a remote island for 72 hours.
Jang Hyuk, SHINee's Minho, Kang Daniel, trot singer Park Goon, baseball player Choi Ji Man, musical actress Ham Yeon Ji, chef Song Hoon, actor Shin Seung Hwan, and comedian Choi Sung Min will all be appearing on the upcoming season.

The newly released preview begins with the cast heading to a small island in South Jeolla Province, noting that they'd never seen a village that was completely empty like this before. 'I couldn't believe that we were actually sleeping here,' says a cast member in voice-over. 'I thought, ‘There's no way.'' Another chimes in, 'All of the clocks were stopped at different times. It was really eerie.'
After the cast confesses to feeling scared and worried that they wouldn't be able to survive there for 72 hours, the video shows a glimpse of the crew heading to the deserted island, with all of its abandoned houses.
Just as the members start to get settled, the cast faces an unexpected obstacle: the freezing weather. As the temperature falls to -20 degrees Celsius, someone observes, 'We picked the wrong day [to come]. We're in huge trouble.' Another cast member agrees, 'The weather became so cold all of a sudden.'
Nonetheless, the crew forges ahead undaunted, and their passion and camaraderie soon lifts their spirits. 'I'm suddenly gaining strength,' declares one member, while another remarks, 'I haven't even eaten anything, but I still feel like I'm gaining energy.' As the cast looks out for one another and sticks together like a clan, they soon find themselves adapting to the harsh conditions of the island.
